Update #1 by David at 5:32 am on Mon 12/29/2025 Dad and Stepmom -- Hunger for God, Fruit, Salvation... Now I have to ask God forgives me because it's only by grace we're saved AND God who is at work in us both to will and do his Good pleasure, Phil 2:13. I had 3 times I went astray but in general had grace to continue to pray, read the Word & Desire to Fellowship -- I'm still a work in progress, fightings without, fears within, 2 Cor 7:5, so I'm chief sinner here, but also know Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, 1 Tim 1:15. I know it’s “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,” Phil 2:12, so I'm not throwing stones but burdened with sighs and groans, Ezek 9:4, Rom 8:26.

But I am concerned for his anger, depression, constant attacks against me and others, outbursts of wrath, attacks about past mistakes from pre-Christ era like 38 yrs ago or the mistakes I've made and repented of, like 10, 20 yrs ago but he literally is like the accuser of the brethren with "always statements" and is at a place where I am in legitimate trembling for him when I write this… I'm active in the church, prayer, intercession, evangelism, seeking and praying for his spiritual growth and legitimately CONCERNED he's on the BROAD and HEAVILY TRAVELED PATH that leads to DESTRUCTION, MANY there be that go thereby, Matt 7:13-14...

I confess we all have sinned, fallen short of The Image and Glory we were Created to Fellowship with and have left our first love OR never even had it yet and it's hard to get back — but we ask "we consider from where we have fallen, repent and do the things we did at first," Rev 2:5 -- I know for me was worship, Bible reading and community... Evangelism, listening to teaching and preaching, praying while working, 1 Thes 5:17...

I ask God would take away any and all spiritual pride in me and motivate me by the love of Christ, 2 Cor 5:14, to pray for him, my stepmom and wife to have "The Holy Spirit's wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God," Eph 1:17, "that love abounds more and more in knowledge and true discernment," Phil 1:9, and God "fills us with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy," Col 1:9-10.

"For God who said 'Light Shine from Darkness' Illumined Our Hearts with The Photo-flash-like Light of the Knowledge the Glory of God by Countenance on Jesus Christ," 2 Cor 4:6. "For You light my lamp; The LORD my God illumines my darkness," Ps 18:28. Father You are Amazing! Please allow The Holy Spirit's SPEED OF LIGHT to ILLUMINATE hearts! Bring LIFE by 'THE SPIRIT MAKES ALIVE, (the flesh contributes nothing), the RHEMA I have SPOKEN ARE SPIRIT and ARE LIFE' John 6:63. Please, just say, 'LIGHT SHINE' in dad's heart, and 'RADIATE' for stepmom, Lord, just say the word, 'TURN ON THE LAMP' and my WIFE's HEART Blazes. Grant 'SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT,' bestow 'REVELATION in KNOWLEDGE of YOU,' Eph 1:17, may 'LOVE abound more and more in knowledge true discernment,' Phil 1:9, praying 'knowledge Your will spiritual wisdom understanding so all walk worthy,' Col 1:9-10, using JESUS' NAME.
