Missionary in Closed Country

Salvations and Safety

Prayer Answered! Update by Cheri at 12:51 pm on Fri 8/26/2011 Thank you for your prayers. The missionary has returned and many have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. There are some in country who are still preaching the gospel. Please continue to pray for their safety.

Original Prayer Request

Please pray for a woman who has gone into a closed country to preach the gospel, hand out bibles and minister to the people. Pray as she goes into places closed to westerners, she would be able to minister to those hungry for God's word. Please pray for health and safety, that God's hand of protection would keep her from danger. Please pray for those who she ministers to, first for their salvation and then for their safety as they listen to the gospel and receive bibles. May the Lord be glorified and may many receive Him as Savior and Lord.

Prayer Answered! Update by Malynda at 10:05 pm on Sun 12/14/2008 God blessed those who were ministering, and led them to over 100 people whom they fed and prayed with. They delivered coats and blankets and were touched by the gratitude and faith of many of those who they were ministering to. Thank you all so much for praying!

Lord, be with the small group of people who are delivering food and blankets to the homeless in Birmingham. Direct them to those who are in need the most. Lord, may your spirit minister to the needy. Give them comfort and hope. Protect and guide those who are carrying your message of love and grace.
