Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 (NIV)
During times of loss you, O Lord, carry our sorrow. Just as a father comforts his children, you comfort us. Lord, please draw those listed here close to your heart, bind their wounds, and heal their sorrow. Wrap your arms of love and grace tightly around them so that they feel your presence and comforting touch. Bless those who mourn, and grant them your joy and your peace. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4 (NIV)
