--May the Lord open the eyes of Christians and especially pastors to "see" that the fulfillment (or abandonment) of our duties to select God-fearing leaders (Exod. 18:21) and to pray for them (I Tim. 2) has far-reaching consequences, and that God has called us to select God-fearing leaders and prayer for all leaders as a matter of loving, moral, Biblical duty. 
--May the eyes of the church be opened to perceive the "spiritual and cultural war" we're in where life, marriage, and America's Biblical foundation and the liberty it gives are under attack (with great advancement of the anti-life, anti-marriage, anti-God agenda BECAUSE of the churches' sin of silent non-participation)
--May the Lord have His hand on this US Supreme Court nomination, Elena Kagan, clearing away the smokescreens and fostering moral clarity about this candidate(s).  May the people "see" the principles she espouses and her lack of experience, and may ungodly, unqualified candidates all be flatly rejected or removed from consideration. 
--May Elena Kagan be humbled, understanding she's a sinner in need of a Savior as we all are, and surrender her life to Jesus Christ. 

The last four finalists being considered by Barack Obama for the Supreme Court position replacing John Paul Stevens:      Soliciter General: Elena Kagan: former Dean of Harvard Law School: has reached out to conservatives; not much of a judicial trail because she has not been a judge
                   Merrick Garland: D.C. Circuit Ct. of Appeals
                   Sidney Thomas: 9th Court of Appeals (from Montana)
                   Diane Wood: 7th Court of Appeals (controversial, liberal)
Pray the justice (judgement) of God fall upon the unseen evil realm, that His lovingkindness and righteousness may come upon our land (Jeremiah 9:23-24) in Jesus name and that a court justice would be selected who will be open the wooing of God's Holy Spirit to decided case by case according to godly principles.
