Lord, we come to you in the mighty name of your son, Jesus.  You say in your word (2 Corinthians 1:3) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort.  We ask that you comfort us, Lord, give us peace. Give us wisdom from above. We pray that you surround us with your precious angels, and supply all the needs we may have. We pray that when we feel lonely, You will be there to comfort us. Lord, you say in your word (Hebrews 13:5)  I will never leave you nor forsake you. Lord, we are your children. God, bless us, and fill us with your comfort and your peace. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

We know, Lord, that a wave of praise precedes the move of God. Therefore, this morning we come before You with praise for what you are doing and will do in our lives for Your arm is not too short.  (Numbers 11:23) And the LORD said to Moses, "Has the LORD'S arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not."   We pray You will pour out Your grace on each of us in Jesus' name, amen!

If God establishes the work of our hands for us, it means HE authorizes, builds, creates, decrees, erects, originates, lays foundation, provides, rivets, secures, stabalizes, and starts the ball rolling.

We serve a God who is so wonderful. He is Our Father, our Savior, our best friend, our comforter, our peace, our healer, and our provider.  It says in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I AM WITH YOU; do not be dismayed, for I am YOUR God. I WILL strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." – It’s a promise, a promise from God that He will be with us. He says not to fear, He says He will help us, and He will Uphold us with his hand.  What a wonderful promise from God to us.  Lord, we claim that promise.  Lord, we ask this in the name of your precious son, Jesus. Amen.

Lord, there is our truth and then there is Your truth for You see and know all things. Your hand is not short that You cannot save. You are mighty to save in any situation! We quietly trust You to save us to the point that we can "wait all the day." However long the "day" may be, we know You WILL save. Intervene, Lord, as only You can. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those whose spirits have been crushed. ~Psalm 34:18

Not only does the Lord inhabit the praises of His people, but he also rushes in to the broken hearted.  Picture a human parent seeing their child broken hearted.  The loving  parent would not ignore their child or expect the child to get out of a crisis alone.  God is a much greater Father than any on earth.  He rushes in and draws near to those who are brokenhearted. (No matter what the reason!)  This verse tells us that he saves those who have had their spirits crushed.  He listens.  He cares.  He is working on our behalf doing whatever is best for us.  We have to keep in mind that the One who is helping us always sees the bigger picture.  Afterall, our Father is God Himself!

Let us pray:  Lord, You are the best Father!  When we are broken You rush in to heal.  You will save us for You are mighty enough to save!  Thank you for not ignoring us and for caring about the details of our lives.  Thank you for always listening as we pour our hearts out to you.  We trust that You, the God who made all things, is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we ask or think because You not only have the power, but also see the whole picture!  Come close Lord.  We need You.  In Jesus' name amen.

"Sing and rejoice, oh daughter of Zion:  for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord." Zechariah 2:10  It's not easy to rejoice when life has hurdles, walls, and pits.  Looking at the storm does not help us.  Looking at the One (Jesus) who sits with us in the boat during the storm does! He is in our midst!  The One who made the universe and our very lives is worthy of praise at ANY time in our lives.  In fact, the Bible tells us that He dwells (lives) in the praises of His people! So, if we want God to live in our lives we can praise Him and He is automatically present.  Okay, so you don't sing that well- you can sing in your car or in the privacy of your own home. (Or you can sing a melody in your heart along with praise music on this site. Click music icon at bottom of page.) You can dance like David did in the Old Testament (like no one is watching) and clap your hands. (I really clapped my hands and it made me smile!-Keep in mind I just lost my house of sixteen years and my dog of twelve years, my oldest child is ill, and I am tending to my six kids alone as my husband is out of town.) IT MADE ME SMILE!  God is going to scatter your enemies!  He will not allow you to be ashamed as you trust in Him to deliver you.  He has the victory.  He won at the cross!  Make a joyful noise! Go ahead!  Encourage yourself in the Lord as David did! Give a sacrifice of praise to the One who saved you. He is MIGHTY!  Even as you sing and worship Him, He is in the midst of you! No matter what you are going through and even if you don't feel like it, give it a try.  He will be there!  That's just Who He is!  He is Faithful!

Let us pray:  Lord, thank you for being in the midst of the storms of our lives.  We lift our hands to You in surrender.  We clap our hands and shout with a voice of triumph.  We thank you for lifting our burdens and carrying our grief.  We thank you for healing, delivering, and restoring.  We thank you for sustaining us and being a faithful friend.  We dance with no inhabition with our souls set free from the cares of this world. You have the victory Lord!  Dwell here in the midst of this praise!  We worship You because of the great things You have done already in our lives and for what You will turn into our good! AMEN!

For all of us:  I pray, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in  heaven" (the Lord's prayer). I pray true committment to Christ will rise up in us and that we will take the "spiritual freefall" of TRUST in Jesus in all situations. And I pray each one of us will be securely kept in the center of God's plan for our life.  Two things have helped me from the beginning of my walk with the Lord. When I can't hang onto Him, He hangs onto me!  And...His name is I AM. We will not find Him in the past with it's regrets.  His name is not I was. Nor will we find Him in the future with its un-certainties. His name is not I will be. We can't afford yesterday or tomorrow.  But today He is I AM, and He is with us.

God is soooo very faithful and caring. A special scripture for all of you comes to mind...Jer. 29:11-12 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me. And I will listen to you." YES! He does have a plan! And then also there's what I call God's phone number...Jer. 33:3  "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."  Call upon the Lord, then be encouraged. God is faithful!

Sometimes life is fragile.  There are moments when things seem like if you do that ONE thing wrong, if you just don't move FAST enough, if you don't get ahead NOW, if you hope one MORE time,....in these moments you can feel like you are walking on eggshells (an easy to break place) or rather walking on a tight rope (an easy to fall-off-of place).  God says in Psalms, "behold, I have put you in a large place...."  Rest easy. You are not walking on eggshells.  You are not walking on a tight rope. You are in His plan and He wants good things for those who trust in Him. The place He has you in is LARGE.  You are in the palm of HIS hands.  You are under the shadow of His wings.  May you be quieted with His love.  May you rest easy knowing that He has a plan perfectly in mind for you.  Jer. 29:11-12

Let us pray:  Lord help us feel your presence in our lives.  Help us know that You cover us and that you have a plan for each of us.  You love us and want good for us, not evil.  You will quiet us with Your Love, Lord.  You are perfect and do not change.  You are trustworthy and we can know that You are working on our behalf even when we can't always see it.  You are a friend that sticks closer than a brother.  You are a rock on which we can stand.  You are the One we lean on and the One who understands us better than we understand ourselves. Thank you Lord!  In Jesus' name, amen.

Have faith - in your faith! "The enemy comes to rob, steal and destroy." (John 10:10) He plants seeds of doubt in our mind, and our mind is the battlefield. Sometimes people have faith, and they just don't know it.   When the Bible says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart," (Psalm 37:4) it means that God doesn't only bless you with things you need, but He also plants desires in your heart. All those things you want to be and become are seeds God has put in your heart, and they will lead to spiritual growth if you read the Word daily, pray and have faith in your faith because it is from God.

 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."  John 14:27  The cares of this world often become like giants in our lives.  They start to demand our attention.  If we LET them, they can overcome us.  Our focus should always be Jesus and His Kingdom no matter what comes our way.  Jesus was speaking here in this verse, "Do not LET..."  It is implied that Jesus expects us to not allow our own hearts to be troubled.  It is our responsibility to focus on him.  Fear tries to creep in.  As we focus on His perfect love for us, fear is cast out according to scripture.  As we focus on Jesus and we meet Him face to face, His light shines in our lives and darkness flees away. Peace comes.  His peace.  We have the light of life guiding our way.  We trust HIM because He loves us and will not leave us or forsake us.  We trust Him because He is faithful.  We do not look at the giants.  We look at Him.

Let us Pray:  Lord, we have things that come up in our lives that try to take our attention from YOU.  Lord help us take notice when this is happening and help us be brave enough to turn our attention from them immediately to You.  Let Your peace come into our lives.  Let Your Perfect LOVE cast out all fear and let your light shine on all the darkness so that it has to flee.  As we look at Your face, let Your light so shine in us that we reflect that peace and light to others to give You Glory no matter what is going on in our lives.  We love You Lord.  We praise You for always being with us and leading the way.  In Jesus' precious name we pray. amen.

As I was sitting on my bed one day this past week, I was spending some time alone with God.  Now, I must say, this is a "worked for" event since I have six kids including a cute, busy (very busy) three year old.  As I am pouring out my heart to God, telling Him that I need Him to come through for me after having a very hard week, in walks the three year old.  She crawls her curly headed self over my torso landing on her head on the bed.  Trying to hide my tears, I quickly wipe my face while she isn't looking.  Her sensitive heart has already picked up on my sadness.  She pops her head up and looks into my face (really close).  She places her little hands on my face.  Her message was sweet and to the point.  I felt as if Jesus Himself was talking to me.  Her message is to all of us who struggle with, " I am weak.  Can I make it?  Help me Lord.  Get me out of this trouble I am in"  This is what she said, "Mama, everything is going to be alright."  She repeats slower with more emphasis,   "Everything is going to be alright."  Then she looks me square in the face and says, "You just gotta be bwave, mama.  Be bwave."  Brave.  Hadn't thought of that.  Suddenly, the scripture to Joshua 1:9 scrolled across my mind, "Have I not COMMANDED you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."   So, fellow Financial Strength Group members, here is our message for the week straight from our three year old minister and then commanded in Joshua from the Lord:  "Everything is going to be alright"  "Everything is going to be alright." "Be Bwave."  "Be Bwave"  Rise up from the dust mighty warriors!

Many of us Christians are trapped in financial strongholds that only God can free us from.   Let us agree to cover ourselves in prayer for financial breakthrough:

Dear Lord, we praise you and love you, Lord.  We humbly come before you asking for forgiveness for the way we handle our finances.  Lord, please help us be responsible in this area where we are weak.  Help us to manage your financial and material blessings, Father, so that you will be glorified.   We  pray that God's children here at the National Prayer Bank will be released from the bondage of lack, need, and financial miseries through  your mighty power, Lord.  Help us to believe and understand the importance of tithing, to give 10% of our earnings for your House, Lord, so that Your promises will be fulfilled  in  Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”  Make each day a miracle of abundance for us, Lord, for your glory.

Jesus is real, and He loves you.  Have you seen that picture of Jesus standing knocking on a door? If you notice, there is no doorknob. That's because Jesus is a gentleman and waits for you to open the door to your life. Jesus was born of a virgin, He is both human and divine, He willingly went to the cross, suffered and died as payment for our sins. Then He rose from the dead! Resurrection Sunday, which most people call Easter! Alleluia!  If you believe this, you are born again and in a sinless relationship with our heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Just start to really walk with God. You will be in partnership with the source of all good things. I pray God will keep you in the center of His plan for your life. You are precious to Him.  I pray you will come into a joyous time with God for the rest of your life and into eternity. Good Friday was here, but Resurrection Sunday is today!

As Christians we experience challenges and trials in life that push us to the limit, threatening or weakening our faith. Hence, we need God's complete cover to prevent us from slipping down the abyss. Aptly expressed by Paul in his letters to the Ephesians: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. We all know there are times that will be harder than others in life.  Sometimes it feels as if we get up only to get knocked back down again.  Wave after wave of trials seem to knock us down.  When this happens, we all have the need to be picked up and put back on our feet again. ( Even carried at times by our Beloved.)  The Bible says that He has carried our grief and suffering.  He continues to bear them with and for us.  We are the Bride of Christ.  What exactly does this mean?  He not only carries us at times; He also has a covenant with us.  In this covenant, whatever is His is ours, and whatever is ours is His.  Our enemy becomes His enemy.  He is our provider, our defender, our lover, and friend.  He will not lie to us.  And as we are ONE with Him....He shows us His heart.  So as Jesus carries you and shows you how you are his bride, may all of your troubles melt in the love He has for you!

Let us pray:  Lord, in the times that You have carried us, we have felt Your love.  Lord we thank you for being faithful to us even when we do not always acknowledge it to You.  You are working on our behalf and honoring Your covenant with us to fight our enemies and defend us against the evil one. You are constant and true.  We ask you to strengthen us and help us have the wisdom that You promised in Proverbs that would lead us down the right paths.  Thank you for giving us this wisdom.  We are Your bride.  May we be spotless and pure in our hearts.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.

Remain faithful in your prayers and believe in what you're asking God to do because James 1:6-7 states: But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord. So, believe, trust, and have faith that your prayers have already been answered in Jesus name.

"CALL TO ME, AND I WILL ANSWER YOU AND SHOW YOU GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS, WHICH YOU DO NOT KNOW."  Jeremiah 33:3

I call that God's phone number, - Jeremiah 33:3  In my own life, it's part of what I do in any decision making process. I pray and ask God for wisdom.  When I arrive at a decision, I know I've got the answer when there is a peace about the whole question.  I recommend it!  I sure have had some "great and mighty things, which I did not know" come to me in one way or another after I called Abba with the problem.  P.S.  Jewish people call their earthly father "Abba".  It means papa.  They call God that also.  What an intimate relationship with our heavenly Father, - Abba.  Give Him a call.

The Bible says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." When we are not moving forward, it is good to stop and evaluate our lives.  This is always important.  We can evaluate if what we are drawing near to is something or someone other than Christ first.  The Bible tells us a key:  "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all of these things SHALL be added to you."  "These things" being spiritual blessings from God.  God wants us.  He wants our devotion.  He wants us close to himself.  This is definitely something to think about.

Let us pray:   Lord, help us draw closer and closer to You.  Help us evaluate, with honesty, our lives and see if there is anything or anyone drawing us away from You. May it matter to us that we please You.   Help us to seek You first and Your kingdom.  Give us the spiritual blessings You want us to have and help us be devoted to you.  Thank you for being the God of the universe ,yet, want to be close to us at the same time.  Thank you for helping us grow even in the hard times.  May we be like butterflies as we struggle to get out of our present circumstances;let strength arise in our hearts and lives in such a way that brings You the glory, Lord.  We love you.  Bring change to our lives that brings deliverance.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.

"Hey, God it's me-How do I get close to you?"

It's night.  I am staring at the stars with my son in our back yard.  Actually, we try to do this often to spend time together. Naturally, we talk to each other and enjoy just being together.  A trust develops between us.  He and I are important to one another. 

Now let's flip this to our relationship with God.  Does He, the God of the Universe, want to be with me? Is it all about spending time with Him?The Bible says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." James 4:8. As I look as this verse a little closer, I can actually take it apart and learn several things from it. First, I draw closer to God. Second, He draws closer to me. Third, He WILL draw near. Fourth, He will draw near to ME. I can conclude then, He wants me to be near Him! Question is: Do I want to be near Him? Answer: Yes! Because I love Him and the Bible says, "...He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6

Let us pray together:   Lord Help us draw near to You. Thank YOU for wanting a relationship with us and for being so gentle about it. Just being closer to You is reward enough! Sometimes life seems more like a rat race (a box with a maze going no where with no prize at the end).  This is NOT what the Bible tells us.  We are to run the race for the prize.   In other words, it is going to be worth it!  The prize is Jesus Himself revealed in our lives.  Whether we are going through mountains or valleys, good times or bad times, God wants us to see His Son and get to know Him better.  He wants us to weather all storms with His love and peace and assurance that He is always with us no matter what happens.  In the end, it is all about being with Him in heaven anyway.  And He is already here with us now; and by His Spirit, He comforts us.  He says, " I will never leave you or forsake you."  Jesus doesn't lie. Right?  Right! 

Let us pray together:  Lord, sometimes it feels like we are in a box with no end in sight.  We ask you to help us focus on the prize of knowing Jesus our Lord and in becoming more and more like Him.  Help us Lord to learn the things you want us to learn.  Calm our anxious hearts with Your constant, perfect love. Help us focus on You, Lord, no matter what comes our way.  In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.

To pray with power it helps to know the powerful God we are praying to.  In any relationship, especially our relationship with God, knowing the other person is essential.  One point of confusion through the ages is the concept of the trinity.  How can there be three persons and only one God? In many ways, it's like water, steam, and ice.  Each, when broken down into chemical form, are H2O. Each of them, however, have their own individual attributes that are notable. Water can wash anything, slide under a door, satisfy a thirst etc. Steam can cook anything, run a locomotive, and cause my tea kettle to whistle. Ice can break a window, preserve my food, and cool down the things in my ice chest. Wait, they are all H2O!  BUT, they have different character traits! God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit each have different character traits; they are all God. In the Bible God is called Father, Maker of heaven and earth, Holy One. Jesus is called Savior, The Word, and God With Us (Emmanuel). The Holy Spirit is called Comforter, Teacher, and Power from on High. They are One; just as H20 is one.

Let us pray together: Lord, we ask You to continually teach us Your ways. We want to be hungry for you. You are the water that we drink that will never run dry. Help us know You, oh God, and love you. Help us know You, Jesus, and love you. Help us know You, Holy Spirit, and love you. Forgive us for not understanding Your greatness. Sometimes life gets so busy that it is hard to get focused.  God, may all of us in this group focus on what YOU think is important.  Help us love you and love our neighbors.  Help us to hear your voice and find your path in our lives so that we can walk down it.  Help us to have your priorities and give us fresh vision for the future. Help us keep our focus on one thing:  YOU with YOUR Kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray.  Amen.

A prayer:  Lord please open unto all of us new doors for blessings in our finances.  Cause us to learn Your ways so that we can bring glory and honor to You in our finances.  Stop the cycles of our lives that are not of You and bless us, Lord, indeed, in all that we put our hands to.  In Jesus' mighty name.  Amen.

 We all need prayer for our finances and other life circumstances.  Since we have 99 members as of this writing, breaking down the prayer opportunities for members into 15 members each page will make it easier for us to organize our efforts and pray more for one another.  If each of us finds our page (see page numbers at the bottom of the Group Members column to the left of the Financial Strength Prayer Group page) and continue to pray for the other members on that page, then more regular prayer support will be available for every member.  There is even a "Make this my hompage" button to select, that will save time each oppurtunity for praying for one another.  If certain prayers stick out to you as prayers that you would like to pay special attention to, then you can add them to your personal prayer list at the bottom of the Group page.  (see special button).  Whether you pray for others in this group once a day or once a week etc., it does not matter.  This is between you and Jesus.  If we break it all down into bite size pieces, then more people will benefit.  Thanks for praying and encouraging one another in the Lord!

 There are some days that we may feel stronger than others.  On the days when we are stronger, may we remember to reach out and help strengthen our brethren who may be weak that day.  The Bible says:

Happy New Year!  People talk about resolutions for the New Year. But have you ever wondered, "What exactly does 'Resolution' mean? According to Webster, a resolution is an act having a fixed purpose, constant in pursuing a purpose, fixed determination.

A prayer:

 May this New Year Lord bring a fixed determination to follow you;  to search for you;  to discover new things about you; to do things for you; to have our eyes fixed on You.  Thank you Lord for giving us others to pray for us and encourage us along the way.  Bless every member with your provision this year and continually direct each member in the way they should go.  Cause any cycle in our finances that is not of you to stop and cause your blessings to over take every member's finances in Jesus' name.  May this year be a year that brings You glory Lord.  We honor You Lord!  We praise You for all of the great things You have done!  In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Then the storm was raging, wind and water beating against their faces making them barely able to focus on what was before them, and the boat just WOULDN'T stop rocking.  They were holding on for dear life, barely able to do anything else.  Does this sound familiar?  Maybe your life story right now?  What happened?  Jesus appeared on the scene.  He does that for us too, right? Everytime.  He calmed the storm by bringing peace.  What did He tell them to do?  He said," Do not be afraid!" Is this an option?  To CHOOSE not to be afraid?  Because this is what it sounds like He is saying.  Trust me.  Faith.  No fear.  Get rid of it.  Do not be afraid.  He shows up everytime and either calms our storms or rides them out with us. God, we choose not to fear or be tempted to fear.  We ask You to help us trust You and believe Your Word.  Help us remember to encourage and pray for one another in this group. In Jesus' name, amen.

 Lord, We all pray in agreement ( for all of our fellow members) for strength for the journey that you have us on Lord.  Cause us to be overcomers in every area of our lives.  Cross our paths with others we can encourage and remind us to tell about your faithfulness to see us through.  Help us encourage each other through our prayers and words of encouragement. Help us think of others who need encouragement and reach out to them. We love you, Lord.  Thank you for your faithfulness.  We know you are working even when we can't always see it.  In Jesus' name.  Amen. 

Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them ALL!  The Bible is very clear that God gives us victory. Everytime!  One of the ways we get victory is through praying for each other.  Remember the praying saints that discovered Peter delivered from prison by an angel of God as a result of their prayers?  Many of us feel as though we are in a prison to debt, to struggles, to hopelessness and more.  This should encourage us to pray for each other even more:  When you know what "prison" feels like, you don't want anyone else to stay there and want others to be free. Job was healed when he prayed for his friends.  Who knows?  You could be delivered from your own "prison" when you pray for others?  This group has prayed almost 10,000 prayers for each other! Wonder how many have found freedom? Keep lifting each other up in prayer and encouraging one another.  God hears and God sees.  He is alive and he created the universe!  Think about it! He can deliver you from any "prison". Remember the principle we learn from Acts 12:5. Knock on heaven's door for each other. He will answer.

If you want to remember to pray for others, a good idea is to make the National Prayer Bank your homepage. (There is a button for this on our Financial Strength Prayer Group page.) With this done, your computer greets you with an invitation to pray everyday.  Even if you have only 10 minutes, you don't have to look up the page! 10 minutes invested in prayer can make a BIG difference in someone's life. Lord ,may you quicken us to pray everyday for one another and may you invade our lives with Your presence and love.  In Jesus' name, amen.

To all members, We need a strategy for breakthrough!

We have 75 members in our Financial Strength group to hold up in prayer.  If you would like, here's a few ideas for praying for all 75:  If your time on the computer is limited, you can pray for page 1 group members on Monday, page 2 on Tuesday, etc. ;or pray for each of the five Group Member pages on odd and even days (For example: odd days like the 25th means that the odd numbered pages get your prayers that day , etc. ); Of course another option, for those of you who can, pray for each member on at least one day or more a week or simply pray for the people on your page each day.(There are many more ways to break it down, but you get the picture.)  As we pray for others and their financial situations, God will hear our cries from heaven for each other and answer our prayers.  Together we can pray and agree.  The prayer of agreement changes things! See Matthew 18:19. Remember to pray for the specific prayers listed as much as you can.  It is part of our honor and privilege as Christians.  At the time of this writing, we have prayed for a total of 27,809 times for each other! This is encouraging!  Keep the prayers going up! It is part of our armory! (Ephesians 6:18) The prayers will be like incense before His throne. (Revelation 8:1-5) Together we can stand in the gap! Remember, Jesus is interceding for us too! We have hope and faith as God's children: the God of Peace shall soon crush satan underneath our feet. (Romans 16:20)  Keep agreeing for breakthrough!  If God is for us, who can stand against us!

How do we pray for one another?  Simply click the "I prayed" button beside the members' names on the Financial Strength Prayer Group page as you stand in the gap for others. 

Good news:

The Bible says that the person who waters will he, himself be watered. (Proverbs 11:25) Seeing that someone else has prayed for you not only makes you feel like you are not alone, but also encourages you to keep believing. Go ahead and make someone's day!  Christ told us He would be praying for us.  He must know that prayer changes things.  We can make a difference in someone else's life!  And that is good news!

Lord, please be gracious to each of us. May we have plenty and be satisfied and praise your name, Oh Lord, our God, who has dealt wondrously with us.  Lord, you have promised that your people shall never be put to shame. (Joel 2:26)  Thank you for supplying all of our needs according to your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19)  Thank you for loving us and providing for us abundantly.  Amen

Make our prayer group your Home Page as a reminder to start the day by praying for others.  Just click the icon that looks like a house.  Be a good Samaritan and pray for the needs of others.  Be part of this powerful ministry.

Let others know that you are praying for them by clicking the “I Prayed” button  after you prayed.  You can pray for a specific prayer request or a person.  To pray for a person, look for the "I Prayed" button on the top left of their profile picture.  When you click the "I Prayed" button, your name is written on a "Prayer Registry," which lets that person know that you prayed for them.  Click “Prayers for you” to see who is praying for you.  You can find it on the top right of your Profile Page. 

You can send an encouragement to anyone who has posted a prayer request by clicking the “Encourage” button on that request.  Your encouragement will appear on a Prayer Registry and can be viewed by anyone who looks at the Registry.  Your words of encouragement can bless all those who read them.

You can also send a private message of encouragement.  Just click someone's name to go to their Profile and leave a message. If you wish to view your private Encouragement Wall, go to your Profile (on the Bottom Navigation Bar) and then click the “Encouragement Wall” tab.  Here you can view Encouragements from others to you. 

Multiply the power of prayer by inviting your friends to join our prayer group on the National Prayer Bank.  We will provide encouragement and support as we lift them up in prayer.  Just click the "Invite Others" button.

Posting an Update to your prayer request helps people know how to continue to pray. To update your prayer request or let people know your prayer has been answered, click "View Registry" or the title of your prayer request.  This is also where you view the Prayer Registry and Words of Encouragement.  When you post an update, an email is sent to everyone who has prayed and everyone in the prayer group, which encourages them to continue to pray. 

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.  Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

When my children were little, I remember how special late afternoons were, even though I was usually exhausted. Because of our large family, there was a lot going on.  The kids should have been tired, too, but that was when their energy level was at its peak.  They would buzz around the house, look out the front window, and sometimes dash outside to the driveway in anticipation.  What was the cause of all that energy?  Daddy was coming home.  And as they waited for him, they were revitalized.  So it is with us.  As we wait upon the Lord in anticipation, our strength is renewed.  He gives us the hope and the confidence of good things to come.  Blessings to each of you.  May God renew your strength as you wait upon Him.
