REVIVAL! Without question, the recent death of Charlie Kirk has caused a spiritual wakening around the world. His focus for spreading the Gospel was on college campuses, but his message drew in people of all ages. The magnitude of his reach is reflected in the number of countries that have had prayer vigils for him. No one knows the magnitude of this awakening. Prayer Warriors here on this site began praying for revival on 4/30/2023, over two years ago. Like Charlie, the initial prayer request was for college students. The prayer request grew to include families, communities, cities, the entire country, and then the world. There have been many revivals since this prayer request was posted, but not of this magnitude. Your prayers for revival, along with others who have been praying for it, have flooded the throne room of God, and He has faithfully answered. We'll continue to pray for revival and wait expectantly as God continues to move. This is such an exciting time for Christians everywhere! Thank YOU for your faithfulness to pray! 

We've been praying for revival on The Prayer Bank for over two years. Thanks to the faithfulness of you prayer warriors, that prayer request has been unbroken with prayers offered every single day during that time. Many have experienced a personal revival, a revival in their family, school, church, or community. Recently there has been a remarkable revival (miracle) in the music industry with an unknown Christian band hitting the top of the charts out of nowhere. I thought you'd enjoy the story.

David's wife has gone into labor at 8 months and has been hospitalized. Please pray for her and their baby. 

A revival of college students has been making its way across the United States since last year led by a group called Unite Us. Starting at Auburn where 5000 students gathered and many were baptized, similar events have occurred at Florida State University, the University of Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. In Arkansas, 10,000 participated, with over 2000 salvations and over 800 baptisms. Mississippi State and Ole Miss each had over 6,000 students attend a praise and worship service with hundreds of salvations and baptisms. At Texas A&M’s Unite Us revival, many attended and were baptized. This was the second revival for Texas A&M. The first wasn’t associated with Unite Us. Ohio State and other universities have had spontaneous revivals, too. God is clearly at work in many ways. Commitments to Christ have carried with them healing from addiction, depression, and thoughts of suicide. All involved agree that this is only the beginning. A multitude of students are seeking the Lord, and the number is growing. Prayer warriors on this site have been praying for revival among college students for over a year and a half. God is clearly moving. Thank you for faithfully praying.

What a God powered shift there has been this year at R-dale high school. Now that the school year is over, let's continue to pray for our youth. May the Lord strengthen them for the next school year. Let's also continue to pray for Zy’Anna, the new believer who began the prayer ministry and Bible Club at R-dale high school. This is only one school. Prayer warriors on this site have been praying for student leaders to make a difference in our schools. R-dale high school has given us just a small glimpse of what God has done this year in many schools around the world. It's an exciting time to be praying. In an event that shattered all previous records in the U.S., thousands of people were baptized in California! God is also moving strongly in other parts of the country. The beaches in Florida, Texas, other places along the Gulf, and various rivers have become the sites for similar mass baptisms. This is a world-wide phenomena with similar reports in Germany and the Netherlands. May this be the summer of Jesus as people, especially our youth, turn to the Lord. Thank YOU, JESUS! And thank you, prayer warriors, for faithfully praying for revival every single day for over a year (since May 6, 2023). Let's continue to pray together. The morning that I had gone to R-dale High School trying to see the group of kids praying before school, all I saw was large groups of students swarming into the building. Their faces were so sad. They positively looked angry. After Zy'Anna told me about the amazing lunch room revival that was going on, I told her about the students I had seen that morning...  and how angry they looked. Zy'Anna amazed me. She said that she had noticed that people carry a face on the outside that sometimes doesn’t reflect what’s going on inside of them. She said that even kids who are very happy, sometimes look mad on the outside. She believes it’s because so much of their life is upsetting to them that it becomes a habit to have an angry face.

Zy'Anna said the group of kids that is meeting is made up of all of the volleyball students, half of the cheerleaders and a bunch of dance students. But then there is an another group that is participating. The LGTQ students!  She said at first that baffled her and she felt uncomfortable. But she studies kids and has said that this group is the sweetest group of kids of all. She feels like this group is hurting and so they made a choice to be LGBTQ because they want to be loved and that is how they are making their statement. Before I could say it, she said that is the group she wants to reach. Here’s her logic. Remember the student who said he was Muslim, but wanted to stay in their club because he wanted a different religion than his parents? She has gotten to know him and thinks it’s hilarious that he called himself Muslim. She said he doesn’t even know what a Muslim is! He had heard that they don’t eat pork. He doesn’t eat pork, so he figured he was Muslim. Pretty funny? She thinks that the same is true for a lot of kids in the  group of LGTQ students. She questions whether they even know what that means. It’s just a label. And she wants to break through it before they make permanent decisions that will change their life in a very bad way. I know so many parents who have prayed for good Christian friends for their children. And God is doing exactly that. Also, God has started a revival at R-dale High School. Thank YOU, Jesus!

Yesterday we reported how the revival at R-dale public high school had evolved. The number of students has doubled to over 60. Led largely by Zy'Anna and her two friends (Savannah and Ashton) they meet in the cafeteria during lunch and use iphone technology to connect all their phones and ipads so they can share sermons, devotionals, and prayers in that noisy environment.  Right now, the study topic is having a friend and being a friend. The Bible study text came from Mark 2:3-11 where four friends made a hole in a roof to lower their friend on a mat right down in front of Jesus so the friend could be healed. The students explained the importance of finding friends who will bring you to the feet of Jesus and not tear you down by leading you to do bad things. The kids are making posters about friendship and putting them up around school to encourage others to come pray with them, and also to encourage good friendships. The principal of the school has taken notice... and is impressed! He noted that their message is helping kids steer away from drinking, drugs and sex that typical friendships at school encourage. Pretty powerful! But wait! There’s more! Tune in tomorrow to hear some very cool goals that the group has.

We’ve been praying for R-dale High School. Zy'Anna and about 30 students have been praying together daily there. We hoped that their numbers would grow. But when we drove by just before school started, it appeared that the group was no longer meeting. A large construction project was underway and the parking was blockaded. There was a crush of students trying to get into the school all at the same time. All of them looked stressed. It was such a sad and dreary day. The school year is almost up. Perhaps it was time to just start praying for next year.  

I began to wonder what revival would actually look like in different places. At public high school the kids would never be able to gather and pray without ceasing. At best, prayer would be in between other things and only as the administration allowed. And what would the administration allow? Zy'Anna called that evening with an update that took my breath away. God. Is. Able. He is able to do more than what we could ever have hoped for. And I'm more excited than ever! Here's a summary of what's happening:

1. Because of the construction, Zy'Anna and her friends changed their prayer meeting to the lunch hour in their lunch room. That's inside a building in the middle of the school and in the middle of the school day!

2. The number of students praying has doubled! Now it’s over 60! She said  that number includes ALL of the school's volleyball teams, most of the dance teams, a lot of the cheerleaders, and a significant number of LGBTQ students (more about that in a future update).  

3. They are using technology to communicate in a noisy lunchroom in an incredible way that I still don’t understand, but hopefully some of you will. The designated student leader for the day lifts up her phone. All the other students tap it with their phone (like I said, I totally don’t understand). Then all the phones and iPads receive information from the leader's phone. That includes a Bible study, with a devotional, and prayer. All of those who have earphones or other listening devices actually hear all that is being downloaded and said. At the end of the prayer all the students say "amen" together... right there in the middle of a public school! I guess that what a revival looks like in a public high school :)But there’s so much more. Tune in tomorrow. God is doing great things!

In God's mercy, He gave us a window into one small high school with a faithful group of students praying. I have confidence that the same story is being lived out in schools everywhere. Every morning, Zionna and her friends, Savannah and Ashton, have been leading students in prayer in the parking lot before school starts. Recently, Zionna reported that she had started inviting other students to go to church with her. it gets even better. She texted me that she started a Bible Study club at her school. They just had their first meeting. Ten students! Turns out she’s navigating some very deep water. One of the students is Hindu and one is Muslim. I told her that missionaries travel around the world to reach others for Christ, but God is bringing them to her door. Please continue to pray for her and her friends as they seek to spread the Gospel at R-dale High School. She is so grateful to all of you for covering her in prayer. As we faithfully pray for students scattered across the globe who are are proclaiming the name of Jesus, let's especially pray for Zionna and her Bible Study Club. It meets again on April 3rd!

Thank you for praying for Zionna and her friends Savannah and Ashton. They have been praying for their school, R-dale High, for weeks. Their numbers have grown as they gather together in the parking lot at 7:30 AM each morning before school. R-dale is a public high school, and their classmates have been very supportive. Zionna said, "...so many people join us in the mornings and there are so many new faces... my teachers have asked me about it..." The three friends have been very encouraged knowing about all of you who have been praying. Zionna asked me to tell you, "THANK YOU FOR SENDING PRAYERS TO OUR SCHOOL!" It means a lot to them knowing that people they have never met are lifting them up in prayer. Thank you for your faithfulness. And if you haven't prayed for revival yet, please join us. 

Prayer warriors on this site have been faithfully praying for revival every day since May of 2023. Zionna, Savannah and Ashton are three teenagers who have been praying for their school, and we’ve been covering them in prayer. Zionna texted this update: 

Our school started with the 3 of us (Zionna, Savannah, & Ashton) then the next day it turned into 8-9 after some cheerleader were asking us what we were doing. After we told them, they asked it they could join and we agreed and said yes. Then some of them invited their boyfriends and friends and their cousins. And even some of the ones on staff started to join us!

And we do a circle thing. Each of us say one good thing that can make our day better or one good thing that we want to improve on. After our prayers, we all talk about our goals, and how we all appreciate life so much even though it’s not perfect. We also talk about being grateful. Not everyone has everything we have, and some may have more than others.

God is multiplying the students at R-dale. He’s pulled in the staff as well. Prayer Warriors from around the world—all the way to Australia—have prayed for this small school far away and the three girls there who have been praying. Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers.

Zionna is a teenager who has started to pray for her school. In four short months, she began attending church, shared the gospel with a family group at her mobile home park, got baptized, and started praying for her school with two of her friends. Because of her schedule, two weeks went by before we could touch base. Then she texted me that she had gotten a childcare job at church and told me all about it. Her life had gotten very busy. I asked if she was still praying at school with her friend Savannah.

Zionna texted: “Yup every morning!”

Me: “You made me cry. I’m double proud of you. Is it the two of you  or does anyone else join in?”

Zionna: “Ashton joins us.”

Then she added, “And a lot of the cheerleaders and some volleyball girls…”

Me: “Are you serious? How many of you are there?”

Zionna: “9 or 10 … But on Wednesdays it’s a lot more but most days 9 or 10.”

By then I was a bucket of tears. I thought of all the prayers that have been prayed here for God to raise up students to pray for their schools. In His great mercy, God showed me just one of those students so that I could tell you about her—so that you could be encouraged, too. I know without a doubt there is a great wave of students that God is preparing. There is a great miracle in the making. Thank you for praying for it.

We’ve been following the story of Zionna, a young believer who had started praying for her school. I offered to take her to her school after hours so that we could pray together. It would mark the beginning of her praying more publicly. She was excited about it, but every time I tried to set up a time, she hesitated. I finally asked if she had changed her mind. She answered with an emphatic, “NO!” She had already told two of her friends about it, and they wanted to come, too. She was just having a hard time coordinating her schedule with her two friends! Now there were three girls who wanted to pray together. When we finally set the date, only one friend, named Savannah, could come. We stood by the school’s flagpole and covered the school in prayer and also prayed over the girls for this special calling. Afterward we went to Barnes and Noble and picked up a special Bible for them. That night Zionna was baptized at church. God is working powerfully in her life. Thank you, prayer warriors, who have been praying for Zionna, Savannah, and Ashton. 

We’ve been praying for revival on this site and have specifically asked God to raise up students to pray for their schools. After taking Zionna to church for a few months, I mentioned revival to her because I hoped she would be interested in praying for revival at her school. She didn’t know what I meant by “revival”, so I told her it would start by praying for the students at her school. She said, “Oh, I’ve already been doing that!” I was stunned. She went on to say, “I had to!” She explained that several students had been gossiping about her. Her solution was to pray for them and for her school. I asked what they were gossiping about. She told me that some said she was into vaping. Others said that she had lost her virginity. She estimated that only about 2% of girls in her grade (9th grade) were still virgins. Instead of being upset at the ones gossiping, she simply laughed and said, “I would never vape, and my virginity ain’t going anywhere!” That girl has spunk! And God had already called her to pray for her school. Thank you, Lord for Zionna—for her courage and her faith. AND thank you for answering ALL of our prayers to raise up students to pray for their schools. There’s more of Zionna’s story to come.

Zionna is a new Christian that is making an impact at her school. One day I showed her The Bible Memory App right before I dropped her off after church. Many of you already use it. (The free version is great! That’s all you need.) The next time I saw her, I started to show her some verses to memorize. I was surprised to discover that she was already memorizing Scripture—Proverbs 31… the classic Proverbs 31 woman. It isn’t already loaded on the app, so I asked Zionna how she found that verse. She said that it was because of Barbie. “Is she a new friend?” I asked. Zionna laughed and said, “NO, the movie about the Barbie doll!” I don’t know much about the Barbie movie, but I was fairly certain that it didn’t recommend any Bible verses. Now catch this—it’s so cool! Zionna said that the movie talked about what being a woman meant. Zionna wasn’t satisfied with Barbie’s description, so she googled what the Bible said about women. That Google search led her straight to Proverbs 31. She didn’t want Barbie’s definition, but God’s. Thank you Lord for using everything…even the Barbie movie...to lead Zionna to truth. Please keep her in your prayers as she makes a stand for Jesus in her school.

This month marks the one year anniversary of the revival at Asbury College. Roughly 15,000 people came each day to pray—50,000 to 70,000 sought God over the course of the revival. Those who witnessed it described our youth as extremely hungry for God. Zionna is one such youth. We’ve been praying for her on this site. She studies her Bible, eagerly takes notes of sermons, and also listens to them online. She’s new to her faith and is trying to make up for lost time. As we pray for revival, I’m so grateful to see how God is drawing youth to Him. Thank you, Jesus, for hearing our prayers. 

We’ve been praying for Zionna, a teenager at R-dale high school. On her 16th birthday, my husband and I took her to lunch to celebrate, and also visited Barns and Noble Bookstore at her request. She gave us a long tour of the store going up and down every aisle. The employees there knew her well because she’s a regular customer. She lingered the longest in the section of Christian books. This girl has a hunger for God. She told us about a couple of friends she had made. Sometimes when they get together, they read the Bible to each other and underline parts they like. She admires one of her friends a lot, who grew up in church and knows the Bible. “It’s like all of that was just given to her,” she commented with a deep longing. Zionna’s mother is in jail. She lives with her grandparents, but they don’t go to church. I told her how precious she is in God’s sight. Her friend had God handed to her, whereas Zionna had to run to him on her own. That meant a lot to her. I have a feeling that the Lord has big plans for Zianna. Please keep her in your prayers.

We've been praying that God raises up students to pray in their schools. Zionna is one of those young prayer warriors. Getting to know her was both sweet and powerful. She's a teenager who recently started going to church with us. On her first car ride, her life perspective tumbled out of her. She reported that high school was a rough place, because as she put it most, everyone was on drugs or doing other “bad stuff”. She spent her breaks and lunch hours tucked away in the school library to avoid the other teenagers, but she said she got along with everyone because she made a point to find something good to say to everyone she met. She confided that she ended most conversations encouraging the kids at school to do better. “You must be very popular then,” I commented. Zionna smiled very big and replied, “You have no idea!” It’s an unusual popularity. Kids are drawn to her, but she maintains her distance. I thank God for her quiet strength and uncommon wisdom. God has prepared her to play an important role in her school.  

We’ve been praying together for revival on this site since May of 2023. We've asked God to raise up student leaders to pray for their school, and recently, we’ve been praying specifically for one of those students, a girl named Zionna. We met her for the first time four years ago. Zionna lives with her grandma and grandpa down the street from me—it's the same mobile home her great grandmother lived in. Their family has been there 50 years or more. My husband and I had given Zionna’s grandparents each a Bible. They told us that their granddaughter lived with them. She was only 11 at the time. When we came back, we met her and gave her a Bible, too. We encouraged her to read it and underline passages as she read. I don’t recall her saying a single word on that visit. Four years would pass before we would meet again. Stay tuned for more about Zionna tomorrow.

Many here have prayed that people would be hungry for the Lord once again, that a revival would sweep the land. We've asked that hearts and minds would be open to God's truth, His word, and His way. As we pray for revival, let's each pray for the schools in our area. Also, let's lift up high schools, colleges, and universities that we have attended or family members or others close to us. Let's claim these schools for Christ in our prayers. May young people discover His love, His wisdom, and His truth. Let's all join together and pray powerfully for revival.

Prayer warriors have been prayed over 2,400 prayers for revival on this site. We are asking God to bring revival to colleges and universities across the land. Recently, we've focused on Harvard University. It is considered by many to be the most prestigious university in the country. By 1636, approximately 17,000 Puritans had migrated to New England, so Harvard was founded to train clergy. It was called a "church in the wilderness". Harvard's mission statement, given in 1642, was, “Everyone shall consider as the main end of his life and studies, to know God and Jesus Christ, which is eternal life." Harvard has fallen a long way from its Christian roots. In the beginning, it was a place where the Bible was at the core of its curriculum as God's truth was openly taught. In the beginning, waves of prayer swept across the campus. Today, Harvard is proudly secular, teaching humanist doctrines that encourage students to abandon their faith. Students and professors kneeling in prayer to an Almighty God have been replaced with students raising their fists and voices in protests. We are asking God to remember Harvard's rich past—remember the prayer warriors that at one time knelt on that campus in prayer, and hear our prayers for revival as well. We have been praying for revival for about seven months, and it's remarkable how consistantly God has called people to pray for this request. On most days, many people pray. But every single day there have been at least a few prayer warriors. Our prayers are like a candle that has never gone out. Thank you to those who have commited to pray every day for revival and also to those who have been called to pray only a few times. During the holidays when so many people are busy and/or traveling, if you feel God calling you to pray here for revival, know that it's an important calling. You may be the one filling the gap when others aren't able. Thank you for joining in prayer for revival.

We have been praying for revival in schools across the land. Part of that has been lifting up students who are praying for the schools that they attend. Surely God's unseen hand is at work in many places. A little over a month ago, I met a high school student who had never attended church. She asked if she could go to church with me. It wasn't long before she made a commitment to the Lord. She has been attending church ever since. Recently, she announced that she has invited two of her friends to have regular Bible studies with her and... YES... they plan to pray for the kids at their school! God's loving kindness is obvious in this teenager's life, but His compassion extends far beyond. The work He is doing in her could have remained unseen, yet God chose to allow us a glimpse. He knows how fervently and faithfully all lof you have been praying, so He revealed this girl's story to all of us. So let's all continue to be faithful in our prayers for revival. God is at work in schools everywhere. He hears our prayers. Great and mighty things are happening. The name of the Lord will surely be proclaimed in schools across the land. 

What does a revival look like? Every revival is different, but they usually have two things in common. Revivals start with prayer, and they leave a trail of lives that have been changed. In the small town of Slaughters, Kentucky, their revival started with prayer when parents and teachers interceded for the youth. The full impact of the revival there won’t be known for a long time. What we do know is that many were saved and baptized. At least 20 teenagers publicly declared their call into ministry. High school students worshipped together before school, and wrote Bible verses on Post-It notes, leaving them to encourage their fellow students.  The ripple effect of the gospel’s call is certain to spur others to proclaim the name of Jesus. The story of this small Kentucky town also serves as an encouragement to prayer warriors like those here on the Prayer Bank. God hears our prayers for revival. It will be exciting to see where God moves next with another outpouring of His Spirit.

In the small town of Slaughters, Kentucky, with a population of 186, "God is doing something unusual" according to the young people there. Several fights reportedly broke out at their high school in less than a week. The Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church had scheduled its annual Disciple Now event for their youth. The congregation got together and started an online prayer intercession schedule. They prayed that God would change the hearts of the youth at the upcoming event which focused on teaching the foundations of faith. The congregation’s prayers were answered, and God showed up in a big way. The event became what is now known as the Unashamed Kentucky Youth Revival. Gatherings grew to about 250 people on off nights and around 300 people on Sunday and Wednesday nights. That’s a lot more people than the population of the town. 

As we continue to intercede tor revival here on this site, it’s good to remember the story of Slaughters, Kentucky. The revival there began with prayers being lifted up for their school. In the same way, as we pray for students in schools across the land, our prayers are bound to have an impact. For just like in Slaughters, Kentucky, our God is a faithful God who answers prayers.

A number of prayer warriors have been faithfully praying on this site for revival. Several colleges have already experienced revival, and more are sure to follow. The list of prayer warriors changes from day to day as God places this prayer request on the hearts of different people. The Lord has added prayer warriors to our ranks along the way. Not a single day has passed without prayers for revival. This is truly a "Holy Spirit moment" where we, as believers are calling upon God to alter the course of many lives. Welcome all you new prayer warriors! It's exciting to see you join us. Let us pray in unison, "Come Holy Spirit, and make Jesus known in universities everywhere and across the land. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

Every day since early May, prayer warriors have been praying for revival on this site. It's been exciting to watch the faithfulness of those praying. Revivals start with prayer, usually by a handful of commited prayer warriors. Already, there have been several revivals. There's a sense that this is only the beginning. We don't know when or where another revival will happen, but from what we know of God's faithfulness, we can be assured that it will.

There has been exciting news of revivals on several campuses. Asbury, Samford University, the University of Oklahoma, Purdue, and Texas A & M. What's it like to be in the middle of an awe-inspiring movement of God? At Asbury College, students, professors, local church leaders, and seminary students prayed, worshipped, and praised God together. Their voices rang out and people bowed at the alter with their arms stretched wide. Everyone sang as God poured out His mercy and love. That's what it was like for hours, and hours, and hours. No one wanted to leave. Lives were forever changed. Please help pray for revival. (See the prayer request below.)  May the Lord bless you in a powerful way for your faithfulness to pray.

Thousands attended a revival last week at Auburn University and a wave of students flocked to a pond there to be baptized. The joyful spirit of revival spread thoughout the campus. In contrast, a Wisconsin based group called The Freedom From Religion Foundation is calling on Snead State, an Alabama community college, to "immediately cease holding prayer at staff events or meals". As we pray for revival, let's pray for the protection and encouragement of those sharing their faith on college and university campuses. Thank you for praying for revival.

HALLELUJAH! REVIVAL AT AUBURN UNIVERSITY! A revival broke out last week at the University of Auburn. It began when just five girls began meeting in the arena each week to pray. The number grew to 200 student prayer warriors... and then it exploded to 5000 people who attended a prayer rally there. As Dylan Cardwell, an Auburn student, said, "Still in awe about all that happened yesterday! God is moving on Auburn's campus...Wow wow wow, thank you God for REVIVAL!"

PRAISE GOD for answering prayer! Auburn University senior Michael Floyd said he will never forget what he witnessed on campus Tuesday night (Sept 12, 2023). “I’ve seen Auburn basketball beat Kentucky, I’ve seen Auburn football beat Alabama, but I have never seen something like I did on Tuesday night,” Floyd said. Thousands packed Neville Arena for a night of worship. When it was ending, one student wanted to be baptized. Without a tub, crowds started gathering at the lake at Auburn’s Red Barn, where roughly 200 people ultimately gave their lives to Christ. Even Auburn Tigers head football coach Hugh Freeze got in the water to help. Floyd said one of Freeze’s players wanted to be baptized, but he didn’t want to do it alone. That’s when his coach waded into the water to help. This happened this week! The unseen hand of God is moving. Please continue to pray for revival!

Reports from the recent Asbury University revival were inspiring! There was 24/7 prayer, worship, testimony, confession of sin, Scripture reading, silence, and more in the chapel at that Kentucky school. People from across the United States flocked to the campus to experience what God was doing. Lives have been forever changed. That is the power of revival. God's unseen hand is at work in other universities. We know that because that is what we are praying for, and God answers prayers. Please continue to pray for a powerful movement of God.

In less than one year’s time, the Welsh Revival of 1904–1905 saw 100,000 people saved. This large number underscores the power of revival. The moving of God’s Spirit came through the preaching of a twenty-six-year-old preacher named Evan Roberts, who had prayed for revival for eleven years. So many were converted and truly-changed their lives in such a short time span that the nation of Wales for a time became known as “The Land of Revival.” Just think of the difference that the prayers of one young man made. Thank you for faithfully praying for revival.

Yesterday, we mentioned that a revival of historic proportions came to North China through the prayers of a single woman missionary, Marie Monsen—just ONE prayer warrior! Every single day since the prayer request for revival was posted here, prayer warriors have faithfully prayed. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him." Just picture God's eyes searching the earth for those who are faithful. May He see the faithful prayer warriors on the Prayer Bank praying. May he show Himself strong as He answers our prayer for revival. Thank you for praying for revival. May the Lord's blessings cover you as you pray. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There have been many revivals around the world. In 1932, revival came to North China through the prayers of a single woman missionary, Marie Monsen. It's reported that as God’s Word freely spread, more people were saved in North China (one missionary estimated 3,000 in his town alone)  than in any other year. Truly, the faithful prayers of even one prayer warrior can bear much fruit.

In America's first Great Awakening, the effects of revival were seen in the sheer number of converts, but the unmeasurable result was the magnitude of change in each heart. One could not walk through town in an evening  without hearing hymns sung by different families on every street. Revival impacted society deeply.

There has been a great awakening about every 80 years throughout American history, and it has been about 80 years since the last large revival. No wonder so many are waiting with anticipation to see the hand of God move in a big way again. In America's first Great Awakening, the colonists were convicted of their sin and renewed in their need for Jesus. The colonies became more united under a common banner of Christ. The overflow of the heart brought increased concern for orphans, increased mission work, increased church plants, and the composition of many great hymns. A revival produces powerful personal change as well as powerful changes in every area of society. Please join us in praying for revival.

America has had hundreds of local and regional revivals as well as a great awakening about every 80 years throughout its history. In the First Great Awakening (1730-55),  Jonathan Edwards, John Weasley, Charles Wesley, and George Whitfield were the main leaders. During this revival, colonists recognized the need for a personal relationship with Christ. Young people responded first and then revival spread to elders. George Whitefield preached to large crowds (sometimes over 30,000) in the open air. He wrote over 18,000 sermons. In New England, church membership doubled.

The recent revival at Asbury college (Feb. 2023) attracted students from more than 260 other colleges and universities. Similar prayer services started at Lee University in Tennessee, Cedarville University in Ohio, and Samford University in Alabama. The Holy Spirit cannot be contained!

The New York Times has said that generation Z is the least religious generation in American history. 1/3 of this group identifies as religiously unaffiliated. Yet, videos of Gen Z students participating in continuous prayer and worship service at Asbury College drew international attention. The multi week revival there was marked by goodwill, radical humility, compassion, and a renewal of faith among visitors and students.

When revival sweeps the land, the sheer number of those impacted is often impressive. How revival changes individuals is something that can't be measured. A student at Asbury College, who participated in the recent revival there, described it by saying that the peace that was in the room was unexplainable. He said that he, along with his buddies, ran to different classrooms and barged in saying, “Revival is happening!” Truly, when revival comes, the excitement can't be contained. Lives are forever changed. The full impact of those changed lives often isn't apparent until years later. More missionaries, more church plants, and greater care for orphans and those in need often are results. The impact is great and can reverberate for years. And so, thank you for praying for revival. May our prayers help usher in the next great outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

We're hoping that more prayer warriors join us in praying for revival. The recent revival that started in February 2023 at Asbury College lasted more than two weeks until the University felt they needed to shut it down. An estimated 50,000 students and visitors had flooded the campus and the small town of Wilmore Kentucky. It was the scene of nonstop prayer and worship as students committed their lives to Christ. The impact of revival is powerful and far-reaching. 

Why pray for revival on college campuses? Throughout American history that's where revivals often occur. At Yale in 1802 there was a revival, and a third of the student body there committed their lives to Christ. In 1995 during a revival at Wheaton College, thousands of students came forward to confess their sins and commit their lives to Christ. In Feb. 2023, there was a revival at Asbury College. Led by students, the revival lasted for weeks. College students from hundreds of other colleges and universities joined them.

A faithful group of prayer warriors has been praying for revival here on the National Prayer Bank. Revival is a time of increased devotion to God, resulting in a greater focus on His work and His kingdom. A common thread is that revival usually begins with prayer... a small group of people committing themselves to pray for revival. So here we are, a small group of prayer warriors asking God to do the extraordinary. Thank you for your faithfulness to pray for revival.

Praying for revival has been exciting because of the faithfulness of those who are praying. A core group of believers who pray has been a common thread for most revivals. So it is with anticipation the we have come together and prayed for a great movement of God. We've been praying specifically for universities. Every day this week, we've prayed for three different schools from our original list. What? A prayer request from God? Yes, God requested prayer for something close to His heart. He included prayer in a list that he provided, that when followed, produces a certain result—revival! 2 Chronicles 7:14 says:

If my people, which are called by my name, humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then  I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This passage is God's roadmap for revival, something that Christians across this land yearn for. What's exciting is that where it says “my people”, God's talking about believers like us. So, as believers, we can help propel a revival. It begins by us turning back to him. And as we turn to Him, we are specifically told to pray. So, here on this site, we'll be joining together to pray for revival. We hope that you will take part in this adventure! We're posting a special prayer request for revival and updating it regularly. Along with a general request for revival, we will be focusing on praying for our young people at specific colleges and universities where satan often has a stronghold. We will continue to add more universities to our list. You can post an encouragement on the prayer request and name a college or university that you would like to add to the list, too. Jesus is silent on Saturday.  The women have anointed his body and placed it in Joseph’s tomb.  The cadaver of Christ is as mute as the stone which guards it.  He spoke much on Friday. He will liberate the slaves of death on Sunday.  But on Saturday, Jesus is silent.

So is God.  He made himself heard on Friday.  He tore the curtains of the temple, opened the graves of the dead, rocked the earth, blocked the sun of the sky, and sacrificed the Son of Heaven.  Earth heard much of God on Friday. Nothing on Saturday.  Jesus is silent.  God is silent.  Saturday is silent. Easter weekend discussions tend to skip Saturday.  Friday and Sunday get the press.  The crucifixion and resurrection command our thoughts.  But don’t ignore Saturday.  You have them, too.

Silent Saturdays.  The day between the struggle and the solution; the question and the answer; the offered prayer and the answer thereof. Saturday’s silence torments us.  Is God angry?  Did I disappoint him? God knows Jesus is in the tomb, why doesn’t He do something?  Or, in your case God knows your career is in the tank, your finances are in the pit, your marriage is in a mess. Why doesn’t He act?  What are you supposed to do until He does?

You do what Jesus did.  Lie still.  Stay silent.  Trust God.  Jesus died with this conviction: “You will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay” (Acts 2:27 NIV).

Jesus knew God would not leave him alone in the grave.  You need to know, God will not leave you alone with your struggles.  His silence is not his absence, inactivity is never apathy.  Saturdays have their purpose. They let us feel the full force of God’s strength. Had God raised Jesus fifteen minutes after the death of His son, would we have appreciated the act? Were He to solve your problems the second they appear, would you appreciate His strength?

For His reasons, God inserts a Saturday between our Fridays and Sundays.  If today is one for you, be patient.  As one who endured the silent Saturday wrote:  “Be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord” (James 5:7 NKJV).

I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. 

For who is God, but the LORD?  And who is a rock, except our God?— the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless.  He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.

You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.  With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. 

I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD wll renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock. 

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

ISAIAH 49:15-16 Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you upon the palms of My hands.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; there is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, they would be too numerous to count.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness. 

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over His kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. 

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.

Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified..., for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

There is none like You, O Lord; You are great, and great is Your name in might.

I will exalt you, Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. I will exalt you, Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them. “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests. Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary     with the victorious power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Prayer Request from Donna

Please pray for my son, sho is battling lung cancer and bone cancer. He is in a lot of pain. Pray they will find medication that wiill reduce the cancer and pain. I can do all things throught Christ which strengtheneth me. Phil. 4:13

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.

... If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:34) Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. (Psalm 100:4)

As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is tried; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

For with God nothing will be impossible.
