What a great reminder, to give thanks to our Heavenly Father, for He is good.  He has been so good to us. He redeemed us,  He paid such a high price for our salvation. We need to thank Him for His presence in our lives for we are never alone;  He is always with us.  He goes before us, and He puts His hand of blessing upon our lives.  Lord, thank you for being so good to us! Lord, You said, "what things we bind on earth are bound in heaven and what things we loose on earth are loosed in heaven." (Matthew 18:18)And You said we would do even greater things than You did in Your time of ministry. We bind any spirits of anxiety, disease, poverty, and any other evil that has come against us, our marriages or our families. And we now declare and decree that all the blessings You have for us are on the way to us now in Jesus' name. And the Lord will establish it. We come to Your throne room seeking help in time of need and knowing You would withhold no good thing from us. You have told us in Your Word, Lord, to put You in remembrance of Your promises. For it is nothing with You, whether against one or against many and therefore we go up against whatever comes against us. We send Judah first - praise to You even before we get the good report, right now! We praise You for what you are doing in our lives. It will be for a great testimony and bring attention to You. May it move unbelievers to accept You in their hearts when they see the provision You are sending forth to us - healing, strong marriages, and financial blessings for each of us and our families. We speak peace over all of us in Jesus mighty name! ...He who takes refuge in me shall possess the land and shall inherit my holy mountain.  And it shall be said, "Build up, build up, prepare the way, remove every obstruction from my people's way." For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:  I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite. (Isaiah 57:13-15)  In this passage, contrite means worn down or weakened. Let's apply these words and be comforted:  I dwell with him that is worn down to revive the heart of the weakened.

Let us pray:  Lord, You said in Your Word that if we take refuge (shelter) in You that we will possess the land and inherit Your holy mountain.  Please remove every obstruction from our way!  You who inhabits eternity I praise You!  Your name is HOLY! We call it the New Testament. It is the last will and testament of Jesus Christ! It tells us what we have inherited. If someone told me I inherited a million dollars, I would read the will and find out what I inherited - and then go collect on it! Collect your inheritance. And finally Lord, thank you for helping us so that we can say, "I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock , and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth - praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord." (Psalm 40:1-3).  May you stay at the center of God's will now and forever, amen!

Watch over us, guide us, and protect us through life's storms for no weapon (sickness) formed against us shall prosper. Facing extreme situations can be gut wrenching, and fear can make our faith shaky.  Certainly, for a Christian, this is when our faith is tested.  It is easy to say “have faith” when you're outside of a situation, but it is different when you are the one facing a difficult problem.  From a human perspective, our emotions rise up,  making our faith in God blurry.  But God loves you.  You are HIS child.  Take comfort in our Lord's  assurance. "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Let's all PUSH for prayer together.  P.U.S.H. stands for "Pray Until Something Happens."  I have a picture in my mind of all of us PUSHing together, holding a battering ram and striking it against a door on the count of three.  God, help us not be tempted to "go to sleep"  like your disciples did when you needed them to pray the most.  Help us stay focused on Your kingdom.  Your kingdom come.  Your will be done here on the National Prayer Bank as it is in heaven.  Make this place a pool of healing, restoration, deliverance, and provision for Your glory and through the prayers lifted up to You.  In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Father, we pray that you would be close to us and allow your presence to be felt in an awesome way. Pour your healing into the situations we face.  Father, you know what is going on, and we often don't, so we are not always sure how to pray except to ask you to be at work. We bind up Satan and command him to be gone. We loose your Holy Spirit to be alive in all situations and your angels to hedge us in on all sides for protection. Thank you, Father!  We praise you that we can come to you in our hour of need and seek help and healing. In the precious name of Jesus and through the mighty power of his blood, we pray. The final twenty or so hours of Jesus’ life on this earth were horrible way beyond description. He suffered not only the nails driven through His wrists, (palms of hands would not hold the weight of a man) the thorns, the flogging, the spit on his face, the removal of His garments, the pain in every part of His body; but He was bearing all the sins any of us would or did commit. We can’t even wrap our mind around it! There is an old saying: “He paid a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could never pay.” That was Friday! But Sunday was coming.

Where was He in the hours between three P.M. “Good Friday” when He was heard to say “Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit” and Easter Sunday morning? We read in 1 Peter 3:19 -20, “He went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water.” One Bible Commentary states, “While Jesus’ body was dead, His living divine spirit actually went to the abode of demons and announced His triumph over sin, Satan, death and hell.” It is written in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.”

And the first Easter Sunday came as Jesus prophesied and was recorded in the gospel of Mark 9:31: For He taught His disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day." It was Mary Magdalene who went to see the tomb the morning of the first day of the week bringing spices used for burials and saw that the huge stone that had covered the entrance to the tomb was rolled aside. And then she saw Jesus’ burial cloths on the floor but the body of the Lord Jesus was gone. Suddenly two men dressed in shining garments (angels) appeared asking “why do you seek the living among the dead?” And saying, “He is not here, He is risen from the dead!” Subsequently, it was reported that Jesus was seen by over 500 people before He ascended into Heaven. He IS risen!

Does it seem like you have been stuck in a long Friday? Don’t give up. Your Sunday is coming, especially if you have accepted the blood of  Jesus as payment for your sins and have invited Him into your life. To memorize  John 15:13 click here

Did you know that under Old Testament law,  the Jews keep seven feasts every year? (Leviticus 23)  The seven feasts of Israel are: Passover,  Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and  Tabernacles. During what we know as Holy Week, the first  three of the seven feasts of Israel were prophetically fulfilled by  Jesus.

FEAST OF PASSOVER: occurs  the first full moon after the almond trees blossom i.e. springtime. To the Jew  it means remembering their deliverance from Egypt. (EXODUS 12:verse 3)  “each family must choose a  lamb or a young goat for a sacrifice, one animal for each household.” To the Christian this represents Jesus  delivering us from sin. John 1:29  (John the Baptist) “saw Jesus  coming toward him, and said, Behold, the  Lamb of God, who takes  away the sin of  the world!”

FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD:  For the Jewish people this feast starts the next night.  Leviticus 23:6 “And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast  of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; for seven days you shall  eat unleavened bread. Leaven (substance that causes bread to rise)  in the Bible is a symbol of sin. So the seven days of eating no bread with leaven  in it is a symbol of a holy walk with God. 1 Corinthians 5:7 tells us “Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you  really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been  sacrificed.”

FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS: is  celebrated by Jewish people on the Sunday after the second feast.  In Leviticus 23:10 it is written, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When  you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the  sheaf of the  first fruits of your harvest to the priest, and he shall wave  the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be  accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.”   We see the fulfillment of this feast explained in 1 Corinthians  15:23, “But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at  his coming those  who belong to Christ.”  One other New Testament scripture applies  here: Romans 8:29 “For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be  conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn  among many brothers.”

This is a clear  picture of how the New Testament is in the Old, concealed and the Old Testament  is in the New, revealed.  In other words it’s just like Jesus said in  MATTHEW 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the  Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill  them.”

The “prayer of agreement” is when we agree with another person or persons in praying for a specific thing, whether it’s about healing, relationships, financial or material needs, etc. We find Jesus teaching this in the gospel of Matthew 18:18-20, “Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.   For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”   It is good when we say an “agreement” prayer if all parties doing the praying have a similar level of faith. When you pray, try to find others to agree with you in prayer.  When you post a prayer on the National Prayer Bank, others will join in agreement.  There is power in praying together.  CLICK HERE to memorize Matthew 18:18-20

Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:20, "And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” What a comfort that the Lord Himself reminds us that we are not alone. In the midst of whatever it is we are going through, we can trust the Lord.  Always keep trusting Him. In the Bible, Proverbs 3:5 says, " Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding."  This gives us peace no matter what is going on.  May you walk in peace, in Jesus' name. Lord, You say in Your word in Psalm 4:8, "I will both lie down in peace, and sleep, For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety." We bind up anything that comes from evil and command it to be silent. God has a plan for your life. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”  Ask Jesus into your heart if you haven’t already and seek him first. It is the most important thing that anyone can do.  Matthew 6:33-34 tells us, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”  Father, we will not worry about tomorrow. We will live life one day at a time, depending on you for what we need because you will provide for us. Bless us today in a special way, Father. Surprise us with your love. We can find what Jesus taught on how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13 where He said:  “Pray then like this: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Grace and peace to you! May God's peace take up residence in our hearts and may He abide there always. Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Everlasting Father...Isaiah 9:6 (ESV) - "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." "A child is born" reveals the humanity of Christ.  "A Son is given" reveals the divinity of Christ. The word "government" refers to the "authoritative direction or control." [Webster] What a picture of God! Kind of like the end of the prayer, the Our Father. "Yours is the Kingdom, the power and all the glory, Lord!" That about covers it! This God of ours is power personified. He is glory. And the Kingdom is us! We are His people, chosen, grafted into the original family of God's chosen people, the Jews, who call Him Abba, meaning Papa God.  He is the God who loves us. And so, His word tells us in Psalm 84:11, "For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly." There will be a good report because God loves us and He has the power to provide what is needed. The Holy Spirit was sent to lead, teach, guide, and comfort us. Above all, get wisdom! When times are hard, it is difficult not to set our gaze on the problems before us. They become like giants. There is a story in the Bible about some Israeli spies in the desert that Moses sent out to see what Israel would be facing. (Numbers 13 and 14) Funny thing is, the spies came back with two different perspectives. One group (the majority) saw the giants in the land and concluded that it was too difficult. They forgot about God being with them and just who they belonged to and what He said He would do for them. The other group (only two - Joshua and Caleb) saw what God could do right there in the enemy's camp. They saw the potential. They could see that God was much bigger than those "giants" and that He would do what He promised. They did not give into fear or the temptation to retreat in the difficult time. They rose in courage and hope in their God. They knew that they would rather depend on Him to deliver them than stay where they were in defeat. This does not mean they were not afraid. They just decided to put their trust in Him because HE was their only steady, faithful, trustworthy, powerful hope.  Let's pray:  Lord, help us be like Joshua and Caleb. Help us see the potentially powerful things You can do in our circumstances. Help us to memorize Your Word and hide it in our hearts. Help us to get to know You through spending time in Your presence and in finding out who You are in Your Word so that when things look too hard we remember what You are like. We love You, Lord. We love the fact that You are ALWAYS a place we can set our gaze and not be disappointed. We pray in the name of Jesus. The Lord tells us in James 5:16, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results."  Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you seeking your help. Lord, help us surrender every thought and every desire to You knowing that you will help us. You say in your Word that your ear is ready to listen to our requests. Bless us and help us to surrender our lives completely to you every moment of the day knowing that You will hear us and help us. We have all suffered sometime during our lives.  What God impressed on me (still does) is that "the valley of the shadow of death" (Psalm 23) is a place we walk THROUGH. It is not where we stay. May I share with you...it seems to me at first the shock numbs us, then the shock lifts and the pain seems to hurt more and finally; by taking one day or one minute at a time, we come to the sanity & serenity of accepting death as one of the things we cannot change. We cannot really even question it. Deuteronomy says "the secret thing of God belong to God...." and I guess that's a good thing. We can only handle knowing just so much.  Surely, the Comforter is with you, and may God bless you richly.  CLICK HERE to memorize Psalm 23.

Where do we begin to learn how to obey?  The only answer is: the Bible.  The Bible is for reproof, correction, and teaching. (2 Timothy 3:16) "How can a young man keep his way pure?  By taking heed to the Word of God." (Psalms 119:9)  The scriptures are a guideline for believers to follow like a map set to a treasure.  The treasure we find in obedience is more than we can comprehend here on the earth.  In fact, the Bible says that we can't fathom what Jesus has waiting for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9) Every time we obey Him, we are showing our love for Him. To obey Him is to seek Him and His will.  The Bible says that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly (wholeheartedly) seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Let us pray:  Father, You give reward to men.  Scripture tells us that You have favor on those who love You. Our obedience proves our love for You.  We care about what You want.  You want to bless people that are obedient to You. Lord help us be serious about our obedience to You.  In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. (1 Kings 8:2-23) (Matthew 7:21)

Revive us oh Lord. This Sunday breathe a new wind of the Holy Spirit into our hearts and lives. Give us fresh bread, new testimonies to Your faithfulness. Take us back to our first love and keep us from letting our love of You becoming lukewarm. Release in us the fullest expressions of praise that You might inhabit us. Bring us up to higher places in praise of all You have done and worship of who You are. This day, Lord, help us to forget about ourselves and concentrate on You in all humility. You will keep us in perfect peace as our minds are stayed on Thee. Help us know You and trust You more each day. We are Yours, a "royal priesthood." We pray fresh anointing on all of us as we minister to each other.  We dedicate ourselves to Your will in our lives.

In Jesus' name I pray that "God will show Himself strong in your behalf" according to 2 Chron. 16:9 and that you will not "grow weary in well doing" but continue in prayer and above all FAITH! (Isaiah 1:19) "IF - you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land."

Some of the promises of God are contingent upon obedience to His Word. That does NOT mean God operates in conditional love as some people do when their attitude is, "I'll love you if!" God's LOVE is unconditional, but to walk in His BLESSINGS, staying under His umbrella of protection, provision, and promises requires obedience to His instructions to us in His Word, our Bible. Ask the Holy Spirit (as I often do) if there something you need to correct in your walk with God. The Lord tells us in  (John 8:32), "And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." Free to receive the protection, provision, and promises of God. This is one way to rule out any obstacle standing between you and God's blessings. I pray you will stay in the center of God's plan for your lives. Amen!

We call it the New Testament. It is the last will and testament of Jesus Christ! It tells us what we have inherited. If someone told me I inherited a million dollars, I would read the will and find out what I inherited - and then go collect on it! Collect your inheritance. And finally, Lord, thank you for helping us so that we can say, "I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock , and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth - praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord." (Psalm 40:1-3).  May you stay at the center of God's will now and forever, amen!

Lord, we come to you in the mighty name of your son, Jesus.  You say in your word (2 Corinthians 1:3) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort.  We ask that you comfort us, Lord, give us peace. Give us wisdom from above. We pray that you surround us with your precious angels, and supply all the needs we may have. We pray that when we feel lonely, You will be there to comfort us. Lord, you say in your word (Hebrews 13:5)  I will never leave you nor forsake you. Lord, we are your children. God, bless us, and fill us with your comfort and your peace. In Jesus' name we pray. Lord, I am grateful that you comfort us, guide us, and embrace us in the most amazing way that only You can do, making us feel loved and assuring us that our loved ones are in your care.  Thank you.   Please bind the pain, the emotional and mental anguish, the loss.  Lord you promised to take care of those who mourn. You said, "I will turn their mourning into joy, I will comfort them and give them gladness for sorrow."  (Jeremiah 31:13)  May this be the light in our lives, Lord. We surrender our concerns to you our Abba, Father, Lord, and Saviour, knowing that we are absolutely nothing without you.  Please send forth your healing.  We love you and praise you, Lord.   This we pray in Jesus' mighty Name, Amen.

Lord, there is our truth and then there is Your truth for You see and know all things. Your hand is not short that You cannot save. You are mighty to save in any situation! We quietly trust You to save us to the point that we can "wait all the day." However long the "day" may be, we know You WILL save. Intervene, Lord, as only You can. Bring change for the good of those who love You. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Jesus is real, and He loves you.  Have you seen that picture of Jesus standing knocking on a door? If you notice, there is no doorknob. That's because Jesus is a gentleman and waits for you to open the door to your life. Jesus was born of a virgin, He is both human and divine, He willingly went to the cross, suffered and died as payment for our sins. Then He rose from the dead! Resurrection Sunday, which most people call Easter! Alleluia!  If you believe this, you are born again and in a sinless relationship with our heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Just start to really walk with God. You will be in partnership with the source of all good things. I pray God will keep you in the center of His plan for your life. You are precious to Him.  I pray you will come into a joyous time with God for the rest of your life and into eternity. Good Friday was here, but Resurrection Sunday is today!

As Christians we experience challenges and trials in life that push us to the limit, threatening or weakening our faith. Hence, we need God's complete cover to prevent us from slipping down the abyss. Aptly expressed by Paul in his letters to the Ephesians: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. We all know there are times that will be harder than others in life. Sometimes it feels as if we get up only to get knocked back down again. Wave after wave of trials seem to knock us down. When this happens, we all have the need to be picked up and put back on our feet again. ( Even carried at times by our Beloved.) The Bible says that He has carried our grief and suffering. He continues to bear them with and for us. We are the Bride of Christ. What exactly does this mean? He not only carries us at times; He also has a covenant with us. In this covenant, whatever is His is ours, and whatever is ours is His. Our enemy becomes His enemy. He is our provider, our defender, our lover, and friend. He will not lie to us. And as we are ONE with Him....He shows us His heart. So as Jesus carries you and shows you how you are his bride, may all of your troubles melt in the love He has for you!

Let us pray: Lord, in the times that You have carried us, we have felt Your love. Lord we thank you for being faithful to us even when we do not always acknowledge it to You. You are working on our behalf and honoring Your covenant with us to fight our enemies and defend us against the evil one. You are constant and true. We ask you to strengthen us and help us have the wisdom that You promised in Proverbs that would lead us down the right paths. Thank you for giving us this wisdom. We are Your bride. May we be spotless and pure in our hearts. In Jesus' name. Amen.

You have someone to turn to, and He is Jesus, our Father, Lord, and Savior. He loves you.  Keep your faith in Him. Wake up each day by thanking God with confidence and expectation that God will deliver, and you can expect His miracles to work in your life. Faith and trust in God are an important mindset for every Christian believer to maintain so that prayers will be answered. "Trust in the Lord, and do good so shall thou dwell in the land and verily thou shall be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass." Psalm 37:3-5

Remain faithful in your prayers and believe in what you're asking God to do because James 1:6-7 states: But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord. So, believe, trust, and have faith that your prayers have already been answered in Jesus name.

"CALL TO ME, AND I WILL ANSWER YOU AND SHOW YOU GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS, WHICH YOU DO NOT KNOW."  Jeremiah 33:3

I call that God's phone number, - Jeremiah 33:3  In my own life, it's part of what I do in any decision making process. I pray and ask God for wisdom.  When I arrive at a decision, I know I've got the answer when there is a peace about the whole question.  I recommend it!  I sure have had some "great and mighty things, which I did not know" come to me in one way or another after I called Abba with the problem.  P.S.  Jewish people call their earthly father "Abba".  It means papa.  They call God that also.  What an intimate relationship with our heavenly Father, - Abba.  Give Him a call.   by Mary Anne

Let others know that you are praying for them by clicking the “I Prayed” button  after you prayed.  You can pray for a specific prayer request or a person.  To pray for a person, look for the "I Prayed" button on the top left of their profile picture.  When you click the "I Prayed" button, your name is written on a "Prayer Registry," which lets that person know that you prayed for them.  Click “Prayers for you” to see who is praying for you.  You can find it on the top right of your Profile Page. 

You can send an encouragement to anyone who has posted a prayer request by clicking the “Encourage” button on that request.  Your encouragement will appear on a Prayer Registry and can be viewed by anyone who looks at the Registry.  Your words of encouragement can bless all those who read them.

You can also send a private message of encouragement.  Just click someone's name to go to their Profile and leave a message. If you wish to view your private Encouragement Wall, go to your Profile (on the Bottom Navigation Bar) and then click the “Encouragement Wall” tab.  Here you can view Encouragements from others to you. 

Multiply the power of prayer by inviting your friends to join our prayer group on the National Prayer Bank.  We will provide encouragement and support as we lift them up in prayer.  Just click the "Invite Others" button.

Posting an Update to your prayer request helps people know how to continue to pray. To update your prayer request or let people know your prayer has been answered, click "View Registry" or the title of your prayer request.  This is also where you view the Prayer Registry and Words of Encouragement.  When you post an update, an email is sent to everyone who has prayed and everyone in the prayer group, which encourages them to continue to pray.
